While conducing research to verify historic records of Homeric Troy’s walls and strata using radiocarbon dating and modern technology, l came across a map of Odyssey’s journey. I thought the map would have been a useful companion when I read the Odyssey, and was inspired to fabricate a large-scale model as an interactive educational tool. The final product is a 3D topographically accurate map highlight the different spots visited by Odysseus in the Odyssey.
